A comprehensive, neurodiversity-affirming assessment focused on understanding a child’s strengths and challenges in real-life contexts.
Each assessment is tailored to the individual and may explore:
Motor skills (gross, fine, and visual)
Sensory processing
Handwriting and self-care
Executive functioning, attention, and regulation
The goal is to understand how these areas affect participation at school, in daily activities, and during social interactions and to offer practical strategies that support inclusion and learning.
This assessment may be suitable for:
Children with EHCPs or those being considered for one
Children with sensory or neurodevelopmental differences (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyspraxia)
Children who find handwriting, coordination, or regulation particularly challenging
These sessions help parents better understand their child’s profile and feel more confident navigating everyday challenges. They’re especially useful if you’re unsure what support is needed or want a clear, realistic next step.
Topics may include:
Understanding your child’s strengths and support needs
Sensory processing (e.g. avoidant, seeking, sensitive profiles)
Executive functioning and emotional regulation
Behaviour through connection, not compliance
EHCP advice and whether an OT assessment is appropriate
These are collaborative conversations where we explore what’s going on and what might actually work for your child and context. This can be a one-off session or may include follow-up sessions for further collaboration.
This one-off consultation explores how sensory differences may be influencing comfort, focus, stress, or participation at home, school, or work.
What’s included:
Sensory profile questionnaires
Online consultation to discuss sensory patterns and their impact
Written summary with insight and tailored suggestions
This is helpful for:
Parents who want to understand their child’s sensory preferences
Teens/young adults exploring comfort, overwhelm, or focus
Adults navigating how sensory input affects daily life, work, and wellbeing
Note: This is not a full OT or sensory integration assessment, but it often provides valuable insight into emotional regulation, attention, and daily functioning.
Tailored support for schools, SENCOs, and staff teams looking to improve inclusion and participation.
Support options:
EHCP input and functional reports
Staff training on:
Sensory processing and regulation
Handwriting and fine motor skills
